Inspired HR Roundup - Teams News, ERB Survey, Awards & More!

Our Team Is Growing...

We're very excited to tell that we've recently taken on two new hires to support recent growth! These new appointments bring further strength to our expertise in employment law, workplace accessibility, and neurodiversity strategy.

Linda Petrie

First up, the wonderful Linda!

Linda brings extensive HR experience and exactly the kind of no-nonsense approach that we value and are known for.

She's a horse owner, which seems to be a bit of a trending theme in our team! Linda also makes her own gin which Nikki swears wasn’t a prerequisite for the job, but we're not sure we believe her...

Natalka Hunka

We'd also like to introduce you to Natalka!

She and Nikki immediately bonded over their no-nonsense approach to HR (and their shared love of Ninja slushies). Add in that Natalka is an award-winning HR professional and it was clear she was made for this team. Please join us in giving them both the warmest welcome to Inspired HR!

It’s Live…

Episode 10 of The HR Business Blueprint featuring the fantastic Alfie Joey is live!

Alfie shares stories from his early career, behind-the-scenes tales from his BBC days, and the unexpected lessons he’s learned along the way.

He and Nikki talk about tackling the fear of public speaking, why it’s not just for extroverts, and how real confidence builds with experience.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about speaking in front of a crowd or want to sharpen your communication skills, this one’s well worth a listen.

We  Need You…

Nikki is researching how prepared SMEs are for the upcoming Employment Rights Bill (ERB) and she’d love your input!

It’s a quick, anonymous survey looking at how leaders in SME businesses are feeling about the Bill and how they’re preparing for it.

All responses will help shape a report that we'll share publicly, enabling HR professionals to support the SME market in the right way as the changes come in.

We're very grateful for anyone taking just a few minutes of their precious and valuable time to do this for us, as it will make a big difference to many!

Drumroll Please…

We’re very excited to announce our Founder & CEO Nikki is a finalist at the 2025 Best Business Women Awards for Best Businesswoman in Business Services!

Nikki is always the first to shout about other people’s achievements, so it’s especially rewarding to see her recognised for the impact she’s making in HR and business.

Huge congratulations to the other finalists! Bring on the big night in October.

Proud To Support…

We’re proud to share that Inspired HR is now registered as a Disability Confident Committed Employer.

This recognises the initial and ongoing work we are doing as an inclusive and supportive employer. Being Disability Confident means; building understanding across our team, removing barriers to opportunity and employment as well as creating a culture where everyone can thrive.

We will keep you updated as we complete and progress through the next levels of this accreditation.
